About Buckingham Summer Festival

Now celebrating our 30th year of bringing world-class classical music to Buckingham

About Us

The Buckingham Summer Festival was founded in 1989 by the late Professor Alan Brook MBE and Artistic Director Robert Secret ARAM. Over the years it has brought top quality musical performers to the town and has become an eagerly anticipated part of the summer's activities and an important cultural event in the Aylesbury Vale area. The Festival is a registered charity and relies entirely on volunteer effort, local sponsorship, individual donations and grants to keep ticket prices affordable.

This year's Festival will take place in the week commencing Saturday 7th July 2018. This is a special year for us as the Festival will be entering its 30th year and we have some wonderful music to offer you. Watch this space for further details!
