Bringing you top quality classical music for over 30 years
The Buckingham Summer Festival was founded in 1989 by the late Professor Alan Brook MBE and Artistic Director Robert Secret ARAM. Over the years it has brought top quality musical performers to the town and has become an eagerly anticipated part of the summer's activities and an important cultural event in the Aylesbury Vale area. The Festival is a registered charity and relies entirely on volunteer effort, local sponsorship, individual donations and grants to keep ticket prices affordable.
This year's Festival will take place in the week commencing Saturday 2nd July 2022. We have some fantastic music in store for you so please visit our Concerts page for further details and to buy tickets!
Parking is very limited near the Radcliffe Centre and the Parish Church.
The closest car park is the University of Buckingham Island car park in Hunter Street. It is free (mention Buckingham Summer Festival at the gate) and about 10 minutes’ walk away.
Cornwalls Meadow car park, off the High Street in the centre of Buckingham, is slightly further away and makes a small charge during the day.
